Serve Traditional Greek cuisine
Thomas 1971 Tavern is a revival of a refined, traditional post-war Athenian tavern from the 1950s. With fabric-covered walls, handcrafted wooden decor, and marble surfaces, the tavern evokes the era when Greece was rebuilding, and local agricultural products—such as sourdough flour, olives, and vegetables—started arriving in Athens. Thomas 1971 Tavern aims to recreate these flavors, serving traditional Greek dishes like handmade bread with olives, lamb with greens, village-style salads, and braised meats, welcoming both Athenians and international visitors.
